Optical inspection of glass pipettes

The system feeds glass pipettes, which are supplied as bulk material, into an inspection process in which the labelling of the pipettes is optically analysed. The pipettes are rotated in the test station and the angle signal is processed by a line scan camera to produce an analysable image. This is followed by OK/NOK sorting. The OK parts are fed to the downstream assembly concept.
